The hotel had a great location, nestled amidst the beautiful mountains and close to UNESCO temples and traditional houses. The room was spacious and had a stunning view of the surrounding hills and trees. The outdoor hot tub on the balcony was a definite highlight, offering a relaxing and romantic experience. the staff were very helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.
The cleanliness and hygiene of the hotel left much to be desired. There were issues with the cleanliness of the rooms, with previous guests' hairs found in the sink and sheets having stains.

I had a fantastic stay in a traditional Japanese room with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. The natural hot springs were a highlight, both in the communal and private onsen — a great experience. The food was delicious and included in the package. The staff were kind and helpful, especially the one who spoke English.
While my stay was amazing overall, I noticed that the hotel was quite expensive, which could be a turn-off to budget travelers. the hotel is located in a remote area, so it may be difficult to access without a car.
